First, keep calm. Contact one of the Ecology departments or local rescue groups. They can guide you on safely handling the animal and provide the care it needs. It’s crucial to minimize stress for the animal, so try to keep it warm and quiet .While waiting for help, avoid giving the animal food or water since it could worsen injuries. If safe to do so, gently place the animal in a secure, ventilated box or carrier. Keep it away from pets and noise. Remember, professionals can give the best care, so your main goal is to get the animal to them quickly.
